GAA Football / Hurling / Camogie

Doon has a tradition of sports especially GAA. With fantastic facilities and a community that works together for the development of the sport, it is easy to see the success of Doon both at Senior level and underage.

This support permeates down to underage structures in primary level. Doon Convent N.S. gets great support and we work with Doon GAA to support, coach and mentor pupils from under 6s upwards. We are also privileged to be allowed use the local GAA facilitiies for after school training every Thursday evening. We link in with the club to create and promote the GAA for all the girls and boys in our school.

This fosters a good community spirit and helps build friendships within the local youth.
