Rockwell College is a fee-charging Voluntary Secondary school. Fees are the primary source of income for Rockwell College. These fees facilitate the employment of teachers in excess of the staffing allocation made to the school by the DES and the employment of staff in administration, nursing, catering, maintenance and coaching. Fees also support the maintenance and upkeep of College ground, buildings and facilities.



Day Boarders – Boys and Girls: €6,300

This fee includes tuition, lunch, tea, extra-curricular and recreational facilities, supervised study, photocopying, postage, administration, 24 hour accident insurance cover and the school journal.

A deposit of € 500 is payable on final confirmation of your place in the College. This amount is deducted from your invoice in August, 2020.In the event of cancellation the deposit is non-refundable.

Please ensure you quote your Account Reference OR child’s name on all bank transfers to the Rockwell College account. Your Account Reference will be shown on your invoice / statement from the College.

Standing Orders are also available on request for parents who wish to pay monthly.

Payments commence August 1st 2020 and continue over 10 consecutive months up to and including May 1st2021.


ADDITIONAL COSTS:

  • Uniform- available from Clinton’s, Clonmel in store or on-line at www.clintons.ie .
  • Class books - a list of the schoolbooks required is forwarded to all students in June. Books are not sold at the College. Books are available at Marian’s Bookshop, O’Connell St., Clonmel, at Stakelum’s Office Supplies, Parnell St., Thurles and bookshops nationwide.
  • Transition Year - some additional costs relating to excursions and activities.
  • Costs in 2019: € 500 approx.
  • Medical Care:Transport costs that may occur related to medical care will be charged to Parents/Guardian.

Boarders - Five Day Boys and Girls: €12,850

Fee of €12,850 is payable in advance in two half–yearly instalments of €6,425.

Date of payment: 1st half year – on or before 1st August 2020

2nd half year – on or before 1st November 2020

  • Accommodation fee: The rate of €37, per night, applies if the boarder stays at weekends or at other school holidays. This is available to Five Day girls only by prior arrangement with the Host Family and with College approval.
  • Transport:€3 per day for travel to and from the school.




Boarders - Seven Day Boys and Girls: €13,850

Fee of €13,850 is payable in advance in two half–yearly instalments of €6,925.
